Great selection and awesome staff!

Wonderful experience! Found exactly what we needed for privacy trees. So much to see and choose from.

The best nursery for serious horticulturalists in eastern mass, and especially notable for native plants and straight species. If you want it, they have it or they can get it. Easy to navigate and welcoming to the general public even though it is more designed for wholesale and landscapers. As with any nursery, it's important for buyers to pick the right plant for the right site, do adequate site prep, and consult professionals for advice (this includes the folks at the front desk who are more than happy to provide tips).

Gorgeous location. They have an extensive variety of flowers, trees, shrubs and anything in between. I was already excited to have my land reworked, but now I can't bare to wait in seeing the finished product. Staff was also delightful.

This nursery is so special that I always visit it when in the area and usually buy plants even though it is a five hour drive from my home.
The selection and plant quality is excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are competitive.

Called ahead for some trees and picked up the next morning. Great customer service for retail shopping. They have a huge selection and will be going back for more landscaping.

Sylvan Nursery sits on the catbird seat of the elite 1% because they do what the 99% won't. The selection is enormous, the quality is unmatched, the grounds are pristine and the customer service is nothing short of world class. Thank you Dan, Ann & Michelle for making me feel like family!

Best plants, best people exception business.

Beautiful place. I wish I had come when I had more time and earlier in the season to explore. I purchased a blueberry bush. They had a large selection and large variety of plants. Even this late in season (mid-August) it was obvious their plants had been well cared for. The sales staff was extremely helpful and knowledge about their plants; how to plant and care for them. They also provided me with written instructions. I plan to check them out again next spring to see all that they have to offer. I have been looking for blueberry plants for a few weeks and by far this place had the most choices and healthiest looking plants and most helpful staff.

This is THE place for trees, shrubs, and perennials. I understand the frustration of people who gave Sylvan low ratings. No one told them how Sylvan works before they arrived. Here's the scoop... it is not an establishment geared toward the retail customer. This firm is primarily "to the trade." Their primary customer is a professional garden designer or landscape architect.
